this was my first phil show and i absolutely loved it!!! We finally got to the show and walked in while Dylan was playing "Tangled up in Blue"

Yes there was alot of acid going around, probably more than was neccasary, but hey I had fun, saw a great show, camped, freaked out, came down and went home. what more could you ask for?

Travis and Troy if you ever see this thank you for showing me the way and I wholeheartedly apologize for being such a fiend later

Phil definately did not open for Dylan and he did not definately play w/ Dylan or vice versa. This was my second exposure to Phil and Friends (first Baltimore 99). There was a lot of acid going around for this show and the next Phish shows...and by lots I mean lots. Did some really good L for this night and thoroughly enjoyed Phil and Friends. Although I am a huge fan of the "quintet" this is definately an enjoyable set of music and worth the download. Enjoy.

this was my first show. little birthday present from a friend of mine. i had just turned 18 a couple days before, and was just getting turned onto the dead. i fell in love. this copy sounds great. i usually don't get a hell of a lot of auds, but i grabbed this, and it sounds beautiful. you should grab it too :)

dylan that night was great too, however i don't remember phil coming out.. might have been the kool-aid...

i distinctly remember walking to the restroom, and i heard like 5 people at 1 time say "I've never seen this many people on acid"

Edit: After talking with my friend, whom i went to the show with, a 20+ year dylan fan, Phil didn't come on stage with Dylan at all. previous reviewer must have mistaken for a different night.

This show marked a four night run for me at Deercreek, brought back memories of the old daze. Phil played on the 9th, and Phish the 10th, 11th, and 12th. The Phil set came first on this evening, and was a really good time. The Highlight of the show for me being the Viola, and then the Viola reprise later on. The Help>Slip>Fire on the Mnt. was a treat too. This show was a few months prior to ther normal PLQ lineup (Phil, Molo,Herring, Haynes, Barroco), so it was kind of a treat looking back to see Phil playing w/ cats he doesnt play w/ alot. If i remember correctly, Phil came out for part of Dylan's set, or Dylan's encore. It was a hazzy weekend to say the least (thanks to Mr. Lemon 714), but i do remember Phil coming out w/ Dylan. The only low point of the set for me was the Dixie Chicken, not a big fan of this one.
I just downloaded this show, iam listening to it now, it sounds good, my guess might be Schoeps, or AKG's, up pretty close FOB. Anyways, IMHO worth the download, not the BEST Phil show i have seen, but deffinatley a great time, and a good listen.
